Hello! I’m Lou an artist and illustrator creating contemporary artworks inspired by nature and folklore. The stories we attach to animals feature heavily in my work.

I love to work with texture using mixed media, usually watercolour and coloured pencils mixed with collage and also digital illustration to add into my process.

I enjoy working small. There is something magical about a tiny artwork that can be held in your hand and enjoyed up close. Small art is accessible and affordable, giving people the chance to own original art without needing lots of space or lots of money, and I’m all for that!
